Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor & Equine-Assisted Psychotherapist
With over eighteen years of horse experience, I am continually humbled and amazed by the relationships we can develop with horses. I competed in Eventing with my first horse, Redwind, in northern Colorado and rode throughout college as a member of an intercollegiate team.
I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology before attaining my Master's in Clinical Counseling from Regis University. While in school, I wore many hats as a working student, volunteer, intern, and instructor in several therapeutic barns in the Denver area.
I am a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine-Specialist in Mental Health and Learning through PATH Intl., but consider myself a lifelong learner of the field of equine therapy and natural horsemanship.
I have acted as a Program Director and Therapist for several Equine Therapy non-profits and was a Wellness Clinician for a large community mental health organization. I incorporate my background with horses and wellness in my private practice and look forward to working with you!
