Individual Psychotherapy
Whether meeting in person at her Whitefish, Montana office or connecting via secure telehealth, Emily draws on over a decade of experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to thoughtfully support each client’s unique needs and goals.
While EMDR is widely recognized as a leading, evidence-based approach for processing traumatic experiences, it is also a powerful modality for illuminating and reshaping the limiting beliefs that often underlie anxiety, self-worth, and patterns of disconnection—creating space for greater clarity, resilience, and lasting change.

Equine Psychotherapy Sessions (May-October)
Equine therapy sessions offer a deeply grounding and immersive path to healing, blending the wisdom of horses with thoughtful, individualized psychotherapy. Each 90-minute session includes 60 minutes of guided, hands-on experience with the horse, supported by both Emily and an experienced equine specialist. Through gentle horsemanship practices, clients are invited to slow down, build connection, and cultivate insight in a calm, natural setting at Two Bear Therapeutic Riding Center.
The additional 30 minutes provide space for personalized reflection and integration. Together, we explore the meaning within the experience, connect it to your intentions, and translate those insights into meaningful, lasting change.
